Wander the World Joyfully

Marbella

December 6

Day 56
The last time I wrote,  we were moving here, to Marbella, for 2 weeks.

Tony was the Timeshare King on this trip.  It also helps that it is way off season.  It’s pretty quiet here.
We went to our local Cor Supermercado and got some provisions.
Here is the best $10 I ever spent.

Good coffee every morning while I write this journal!

Hahaha.  One of my friends from First Church sent me this!  Thanks, Joyce!

We have walked and explored this giant complex.  It’s amazing how many empty condos there are in the world.
However, I think our place may be another 1A. (In real life, TORO 107).  We have plenty of room for kids!  Oh wait, we’re past that….or ARE we?

Plenty of room for visitors.

The plants here are puzzling and impressive all at once.

These cactus trees are Gigante.
And the textures are so fascinating.
We found a random pepper garden.
We had dinner at Sinbad’s.

We can still access the beautiful beaches of Southern Spain.

They asked if we had a reservation!  😆

It’s been a nice break. We haven’t driven for 2 days.
Tony’s writing. And asking me for input, so you KNOW it’s gonna be good!
I’m doing my painting lessons. And sending them back to the grandkids hoping they will paint on them too.  So you KNOW the paintings will be good!

Hopefully we’ll get back in the car today to explore Arcos de la Frontera or Ronda.  I’m ready to see the Moorish influences of Spain!

It poured rain yesterday, hopefully today will be better for finding new places.
The days are short, fortunately we have lots of them.
And remember, anything we see, we haven’t seen before, like those cactus trees.

Oh wow that restaurant is so exquisite. And the condo – wow. No roughing it for you! You realize you will be tapped to plan tours now! So glad Tony is asking for your input- such a smart guy. You're painting lessons are paying off. I should start some now that my art studio is in our kitchen! Love the black cat coffee picture. Keep the good times and wit coming! I'll miss them when you get back but at least I won't miss you then!
