Zahara de la Sierra
December 6 ( traveling day)
Day 56
Zahara is east of Ronda. South of Seville.
We gained about 2,000 feet in elevation on this drive.
Zahara is a city above a resoirvoir with the obligatory castle on a rocky outcropping.
We drove to the top of the hill, advice given to us in Lisbon, by the way. And walked into the village.
There is so much hill climbing in these towns! Living here would be so good for your health!
As you can see, the skies were a bit threatening, so we decided to head home to Marbella for an early dinner and catch a World Cup match at another mostly empty restaurant!
