Beginning

 Hello Friends of D and T,

I have been encouraged to start a blog of our epic Noah’s Ark Trip to Spain.

There will be 40 days on a cruise ship.  Then 30 days in Air BnB’s and time shares, and untimately,

Christmas in Barcelona.

We will get to see our youngest, Joe, who is going to university in Huelva, Spain.  His partner, Sam, will join us for Christmas.

We will get to spend a week in Malaga with Martin and Miski, who are  now living in Puerto Rico.

This will be a trip to see the kids who are not coming home for Christmas.

This will be a trip, for sure.

Currently we are just getting ready to leave.  Packing, scheduling house sitters, seeing The Adorables and kids we won’t see for 3 months. Jaime and Matt, Jacob and Kristen. Kamaria and Tanisha and Thea.

And friends…this month has been busy trying to make up for the last year away and this long trip.  I have put my garden to bed.  We have cleaned up the patios.  It will be weird to be away.

This is a trip of tours and being looked after.  We usually strike out and rent a car and find places to stay and go see what’s there.  Maybe this is the face of travel as we get older.   Maybe other people will make the decisions of what we see and when.  Maybe we just become philosophers.

I guess we’ll see.
