Wander the World Joyfully

Unrestrained

November 20

Day 40
Still married and still happy about it.
The title of this post refers to Christmas season in Spain and Portugal.  La Navidad es Loco.
Yesterday we visited Màlaga, Spain.  It’s a beautiful, clean city with wide streets and promenades.

We clocked in 5 miles of wandering.

Here’s why, sparkle.  Miles and towers of giant palettes all glittery in the sun!
Dripping from trees
Catching the sunlight
Dwarfing regular humans.
There was a huge market.  And a promenade to shop and eat and drink.
It led to the Roman coliseum ruins and a castle named Gibralfaro.

We have plenty of things to visit when we come back in a couple of weeks.

We also visited a place called El Pimpi.  A local institution.  Who could forget the name?
Next stop , Lisbon on the 21st.
I honestly am so sad to be leaving this crew. We made so many “best friends”.

Tani here. I'm so jealous. That Christmas cheer must have been so fun to wander in! So you are leaving your crew? sigh. That's sad – you are so good at friend making. Can't wait for Lisbon.
