Conundrums
We are waiting in a looooong line to take a little boat into Newport, RI. I did just drop an F bomb a little too loudly….I mean it was funny, but…
Our last stop in the US.
Last day of internet till Nov 10th.
We have a package of things to mail home. So the post office in Newport will be a highlight.
While we are waiting in a thousand person line, I thought I’d share some ship life.
Here’s what we wake to every morning and ask:
“Is that picture straight?” It’s lined up with the seams in the walls….but….
Also, walking in this cabin is a bit like waitressing. Look. Spin. Make yourself flat.
Are the people who do these things gonna be able to read that sign?
And what are these people doing?
Now that we have a balcony room we have TWO electrical outlets.
Some days they have laundry “sales”. As much as you can stuff in the bag for $29.
Here’s how you get it back. So fancy, better than ur mom would do honestly.
Yesterday I bought shampoo so we don’t have to use the laundry detergent they put on the ship’s showers. I mean, it IS handy between the “laundry sale” days. But not the best for actual hair.
Then there are these guys hidden around the ship. I’m going to find one in Newport , put the tag on it, and stash it somewhere to make someone’s day!

Oh man, I am loving your blog. You are making this so fun and interesting. I’m embarrassed to say I just figured out how to look at the trip in sequence so I spent the night starting at the oldest post pressing the practically invisible button that says newer post, and proceeding through them all again. I am getting more and more convinced that we may have to cruise again. ack! exciting. Your pictures are awesome, I am still over the moon about the clouds. Man that was spectacular! Cruise on and keep sharing!
