Day 6.
Another day at sea.
I’m a little restless today.
I can’t log onto my computer to see if there are any comments here. My phone doesn’t show them. Will try again tomorrow when we land in Cabo San Lucas.
There are a couple of passengers who live on the ship. It’s kind of fascinating. One woman flies between re-positioning deals, and works remotely. Her youngest is in college, her daughter joins her once in a while. Interesting life.
There’s an older woman, who carries cards and photos around with her from past cruises on this line. (WAY past) She and her latest husband (her 3rd, however she makes it clear that she is his first) dress wildly for dinner and snag anyone who will listen to their stories. We have been eavesdropping and trying to rescue waitstaff, we haven’t yet been “you hoo” ed over to their table.
Tony wrote a lot today. He searched for words, and asked me for words and I really believe that between us he made progress. He was looking for “multiplying exponentially”. We had “multiplying”, and we new the next word had to do with math…integer, cosign, fraction…geez that took a while!
I keep trying to draw clouds…maybe I’ll figure it out in 34 more days.
We took a Spanish .001 class here. Hopefully there will be more! Our teacher gave us enough to start a conversation, but not understand the responses! That must be the next class!
We went to a good show last night. A fabulous piano player who could play backwards and forwards and upside down. Amazing. I wish the grandkids had been there so they could see how much fun piano lessons could be!
The views from the ship are really beautiful. I’ll keep working on those clouds.
