Astoria

We have settled in a bit. It’s sunny and breezy.

We toured the ship last night to get all the free stuff!  Ha! I was enthusiastic in the art gallery raffle and won a bottle of champagne just for effort 👌. 

Tony was so proud to be my life partner at that moment!

We also have our first complimentary art print in our spacious room.

I have magnets, and there’s lots of wall space for 40 days….Maybe we can create our own gallery!

There was an entertainment preview show.  It made me think of working for Greg Thompson Productions and making costumes for these kinds of shows.  Now I think all the costumes are purchased from Ruby’s or somewhere.

There are 1300 guests on this boat and 979 employees.

So I think we are good…

Also, Prairie Vodka from MinneSO ta served  in a NORWEGIAN cruise line cup made the day weirdly magical for me.

We have a day at sea tomorrow, so no internet, only drawing…wish me luck.

We parked in Astoria today, you may recognize the bridge.

We were lucky enough to be escorted in by a flock of Pelicans.
